How do performers communicate with their audience?
From the Spring Garden Party to the Kindergarten Neighborhood Show, boys in the early grades take the stage multiple times a year with speaking parts and shared songs. These meaningful performances help them grow more confident, expressive, and comfortable in front of an audience.
What did I learn about myself through this performance?
In second grade, boys take the stage in Huzzah!, Huzzah!, portraying key figures from the American Revolution. Through rehearsal and performance, they grow as collaborators and communicators—learning to take on new perspectives and express themselves clearly and confidently.
How do we collaborate to create an excellent performance?
In theatre arts, third grade boys work together to bring a full production to life—from selecting and casting the show to building sets and creating costumes. The experience deepens their understanding of collaboration, craftsmanship, and what it takes to realize a shared creative vision.
