Since 2012, Horizons at Saint David’s has offered a tuition-free, multi-year academic enrichment program for boys from under-resourced communities in neighboring East Harlem. The program began during Saint David’s 60th anniversary celebration as a way to deepen our commitment to education in our surrounding community.

A Campus Alive With Discovery
Boys join Horizons the summer after Kindergarten and continue through middle school, participating in six weeks of immersive learning each year on the Saint David’s campus. The goal isn’t just academic—it’s to nurture confidence, character, curiosity, and connection.
Students build relationships with skilled teachers and caring mentors—including Saint David’s alumni who return each summer as assistants and role models. The students experience a campus alive with discovery. Saint David's alumni parents are also very involved as volunteers and supporters of the program.
Horizons at Saint David’s covers the full cost of the program—making it tuition-free for all accepted families. The school commits the people, resources, and campus space to ensure it thrives.
