Nora Sundar

Director of Supervision and Evaluation

Nora Sundar is the Director of Supervision and Evaluation at Saint David’s School in New York City, where she leads faculty development programs focused on individualized professional growth though reflective practice. With over 20 years in education, in both formal and informal settings, she has designed and led a variety of initiatives that support teachers' ongoing development by cultivating a culture of trust and inquiry, guiding teachers through multi-faceted evaluations and professional growth opportunities that ultimately empower teachers to assess and refine their own practice. Before joining Saint David’s, Nora directed the Crime Scene Information Technology (CSIT) project at the New York Hall of Science, an NSF-funded initiative designed to integrate forensic science and IT into middle school curricula. Nora brings extensive experience in instructional leadership, teacher mentorship, and the design of innovative, equity-driven programs. Her career has focused on creating professional learning environments that value the individual strengths of teachers while setting high standards for growth. She holds a BA from Amherst College and an MA in Educational Technology from NYU.
