Jamie Downes MacNeille, M.A.T., is the Director of Teaching and Learning at Saint David's School in New York City, where she has led educational initiatives for over fifteen years. With over two decades of teaching experience in public, private, and parochial schools, including sixteen years in all-boys education, she specializes in curriculum design, teacher mentorship, strategic planning, and instructional leadership. As the lead administrator of the Teaching Boys Initiative, Jamie guided the development of a research-based pedagogical framework that includes a comprehensive two-year onboarding program, multi-tiered professional pathways, and a robust suite of in-house courses to foster teacher reflection and growth. A strong advocate for relational teaching and inquiry-based learning, she has built lasting relationships with educational researchers and champions reflective practice as a foundation for ongoing professional growth. An active member of the International Boys' Schools Coalition, Jamie holds a Master of Arts in Teaching from National Louis University and a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Michigan State University.
