Ric Campbell

Ric Campbell, Ed.D., Harvard University, is currently the executive director of the Teacher Leader Institute (in development), an education consultant working with the teachers and school leaders at Saint David’s School, and a member of the advisory board for The Teacher’s Institute in Auckland, NZ. Ric has been a classroom teacher for more than 20 years, working with learners from Kindergarten through 12th Grade. He later served as the Associate Director of The Institute for Writing and Thinking at Bard College and went on to design the Bard College MAT Program, serving as dean for ten years and opening campuses in Palestine, California, and New York City during his tenure. Ric was also the founder and executive director/principal of the South Bronx Early College Academy, serving middle school students in one of the poorest congressional districts in the U.S. Ric is committed to school change from within the classroom, supporting teachers as the innovators and leaders of continuous school improvement through deliberate reflective practice.
