Michael Reichert

Dr. Reichert, psychologist and leading researcher in boys’ education, is Director of the Center for the Study of Boys’ and Girls Lives at UPenn and the author of How to Raise a Boy: The Power of Connection to Build Good Men, and the co-author with Richard Hawley of I Can Learn From You: Boys as Relational Learners, and Reaching Boys, Teaching Boys: Strategies That Work and Why. His work with the Center led to a request by the International Boys’ Schools Coalition to conduct a series of global studies on effective practices in boys’ education. Dr. Reichert’s collaboration with Saint David's faculty centers on the relational dimension of teaching and learning.
