Dr. O’Halloran is in his 22nd year as Headmaster of Saint David’s. Previously he had been Headmaster of Hilltop Country Day School in Sparta, N.J., and head teacher and Director of Learning Resources at The Allen-Stevenson School, as well as Adjunct Assistant Professor at Fordham University. He is the President of Horizons at Saint David’s, a member of the board of George Jackson Academy, former trustee of the Marymount School of New York, former president of ISAAGNY, former treasurer of the NYC Guild of Independent Schools, and former trustee of Horizons NYC. Dr. O'Halloran received his Diploma of Teaching at Brisbane College of Advanced Education in Queensland, Australia, an M.S. in Early Childhood and Elementary Education at Bank Street College of Education in New York City, and a Ph.D. in Language, Literacy and Learning from Fordham University. He and his wife are the parents of four children, including two Saint David’s graduates.
